The Ed Speldy Easy Company (owner of Real Cool Bugs) is a specialty manufacturer and distributor of plastomount products. They had a small web presence and were looking to expand their business into the direct sales to customers market. They were previously focused on just the wholesale side of their business and were doing well. They approached Prime Stack looking for a fully functional e-commerce website built for their current customer base.
The entire project was completed in 6 weeks including a custom tailored Shopify e-commerce solution. The sales on the site have seen steady progress after release. The Ride for Roswell is a staple fundraising event in Western New York which happens every summer during June. A large contingent of volunteers, emergency service personal, town police, fire districts, ambulances, etc have to be on standby to make an event like this even possible. The Ride for Roswell safety committee approached the owner of Prime Stack for a custom built web application to manage and coordinate the different parts of the puzzle.
Prime Stack developed with the use of open source tools a computer aided dispatch system. In 2011 the Ride for Roswell had over 7,000 participants who collectively raised over $3.1 million dollars for Roswell Park. Prime Stack's implementation of the Tickets database program worked perfectly and allowed for a smooth experience for all operators related to the event's emergency services. The application included realtime GPS tracking of over 30 support vehicles, communication components between multiple precincts, and a central repository for all critical events and their associated timeline tracking which was needed for the custom report generation module.
E-Assign is a content delivery system for technical data used in the classroom, typically in the form of class assignments. E-Assign approached Prime Stack with a fully developed database but lacked the programming skills to bring the project to market within a small time frame.
Prime Stack delivered the fully functional program only three weeks from the beginning of the concept phase to accruing students within the system. This quick turn around saved E-Assign from delaying their project otherwise E-Assign would have to wait for the next semester before launching. Needless to say, E-Assign was very pleased.
